About Us
What makes us great at what we do is our personal touch. Pete trained and worked at the BBC, honing his audio and visual skills over a couple of decades. He started his career in BBC Radio as a sound engineer and studio manager where he learned his technical audio skills delivering programmes across Radio 1, Radio 2, Radio 4 and Radio 5Live.

Moving into production at BBC Radio 1, Pete then specialised in creating bespoke packages and documentaries. He brings this grounding to every podcast and video, because he is used to problem solving in the moment and creating simple solutions to make things work. Behind the scenes Pete creates seamless content through an intricate attention to detail which is always evident in the final product.

Pete then spent many years working in BBC News as a cameraman and video editor creating content for TV and online formats. He worked for programmes such as BBC Breakfast and the One, Six and Ten O’Clock News which took him all over the world and made full use of his hostile environments and riot training. Delivering at pace, on time and on budget is a necessity in that environment and reflects in the way Audio & Visual Monkeys operates.
At the BBC, Pete was able to marry his love of music with his love of radio and film because he was heavily involved in filming external live events such as Glastonbury, Reading Festival, the Big Weekend and many other international music events in Australia, America and all over Europe.
